almost two years to the day...
i was sitting down to type up a "hey it's november, time to reboot my life" post and got distracted.
wandered over to userpics.
switched to communities view.
saw this group... huh...

oh yeah, i forgot about this...
ok, so tomorrow is grand opening of the new store and i've slipped into some bad habits during the preopening madness. so tomorrow starts a return to health. i ran out a bought a few groceries in preparation.
remember i mentioned that i refuse to diet, but that instead i'm looking to establish life habits. i'm going to eventually pen a firm list of what they will be, but for now, there's a few things that i'm going back to tomorrow.
so here it goes:
1. eat breakfast, everyday. (the whole "within 90 minutes of waking up" thing might
all that water that i used to drink.
3. eat an apple (or other whole
fruit) every day.
4. sleep eight hours
on work nights.
5. no meals
(aside from special occasions) after 7p.
6. if i want a soda, i have to walk/run/jog/bike/crawl to get it.
i'm going to get to work on #4.

Hi! My name is Erin and I'm a---
beginning weight: 210lbs
goal: 210-->200-->180-->160 even if I don't loose it all, I'd like to convert it to muscletone instead of flab. I want to get fit!
why do this: My health and fitness need to be at a higher level then where they're at. Selfishly, I was to loose my little budda belly and cellulite, but if nothing else--I really need to do this from a health aspect.
my plan: Eat a more balanced diet on a more balanced schedule---no more one meal a day super food-a-thon. And more excersize. Muscle tone is my friend.
my fears: For my genetics to get the better of me---if I get healthy and stay healthy now, then I'm less likely to encounter problems with the genetic problems as I get older.
first thing i'll do when i reach my goal: London or Hawaii. Haven't decided which yet.
last words: Its not just about dieting--its about making better food choices, compromises, and excersize. Current Mood: cold
so i figure we can figure this out along the way... but for now:
beginning weight: 215ish. i still have to find a scale.
goal: 185ish, size 36 pants, reduce the manboobs, keep the ass, feel confident out and about.
why do this: i have been working on this off and on, but i feel like a can be held a little more accountable this way.
my plan: establish easy and enjoyable "life habits" involving food and exercise. namely, reduce my calorie intake.
my fears: falling back to the old way. thus the establishing new "life habits". easy things to stick with forever.
first thing i'll do when i reach my goal: trip to ireland!!!
last words: starving myself doesn't count.
